Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is soliciting competitive bids for water infrastructure improvements at the 88th Readiness Division, COL. P. Schulstad U.S. Army Reserve Center. The base bid includes demolition, directional drilling, excavation, water service and main lines, gate valves, vaults, meters, boxes, chlorination testing, removal and capping of existing fire hydrants, installation of new fire hydrants, HMA pavement patching, concrete sidewalk and drive repairs, investigation and repair of a leaking abandoned water main, seeding, and site restoration. Option A includes a new water connection to the Village of Arlington Heights water main, plugging and capping the existing connection, related valves and appurtenances, chlorination testing, sidewalk repair, seeding, and site restoration. Option B includes a new water connection, water service and main lines, related valves and appurtenances, sidewalk repair, investigation of an existing storm sewer under Central Road, seeding, and site restoration.
