Description
The University of Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids for the abatement and demolition of Mall Parcel B of the Jackson Avenue Center on its campus. The project involves approximately 71,000 gross square feet of a single-story, steel-framed building with a flat membrane roof, exterior walls approximately 21 feet high, and spread footings approximately 5 feet deep. Removal extents are shown in the bid drawings. The work is part of a broader demolition and new parking project. Bidders must submit the architect-furnished Bid Form with firm pricing. A bid bond or certified check of at least 5% of the base bid is required, and the successful bidder must provide applicable performance bonding and liability insurance. Electronic and sealed-paper submission methods are available; paper bids require one copy and specified exterior markings.
