Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center requires the overhaul of two elevator booster assemblies, NSN 1680-01-472-5564, part number 374461-11. The contractor must provide all parts, labor, materials, tooling, test equipment, and facilities necessary to perform teardown, inspection, repair, assembly, testing, corrosion removal, deficiency correction, and final paint. Components must be returned airworthy and ready for installation on HC-130J aircraft, generally within 60 days after receipt of material. The work must comply with applicable OEM or Air Force technical data and use an approved component test jig. The contractor must be the OEM, an OEM-authorized repair center, or an FAA-certified Part 145 repair center. The quotation must include evidence of access to current technical data, applicable facility or OEM certifications, airworthiness certification capability, a subcontractor list or confirmation that no subcontractors will be used, a proposed lead time, and a fully burdened firm-fixed price. Required delivery documentation includes airworthiness certification, traceability documentation, and a Certificate of Conformance; the solicitation also evaluates technical acceptability, lead time, past performance, and price.
