Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting one brand-name DMG MORI NLX 2500/700 CNC Y-axis horizontal turning center, manufacturer part number NL257270225, with live tooling, sub-spindle, specified chucks, tooling, probing, coolant and chip-removal systems, controls, accessories, delivery, installation, technical manuals, and training. The machine must be new and commercially available and meet the detailed performance, capacity, accuracy, safety, electrical, and operating-system requirements in the statement of specifications. The package includes a two-year DMG MORI connectivity subscription and a five-year warranty beginning at installation. The contractor must provide mechanical and electrical installation, installation and foundation drawings, delivery, and four consecutive eight-hour days of on-site operator/programmer training for four personnel, including maintenance and troubleshooting instruction. The acquisition is a firm-fixed-price, single-award, total small-business set-aside with LPTA-style technical, price, and past-performance evaluation.
