Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting a general contractor for roadway and parking improvements at Jefferson Lake State Park. The work includes resurfacing approximately 600 feet of the entry driveway, reconstructing the parking lot with full-depth pavement replacement, replacing an adjacent trail with full-depth pavement, asphalt paving, pavement removal and planing, aggregate base, concrete walk work, drainage adjustments, traffic maintenance, pavement markings, signage, seeding and mulching, fertilizer and lime application, and erosion control. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, domestic steel requirements, and the State of Ohio Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) Business Development Program, with a 5 percent EDGE participation goal. Bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Express and include the required electronic bid-guaranty documentation. The estimated general-contract construction cost is $416,270, and all work must be substantially completed within 45 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed; the agreement lists a projected completion date of December 7, 2026.
