Description
The City seeks a third-party provider to manage billing and collections for emergency and non-emergency EMS services, including transports, treatment in place, and mobile integrated health care, as well as fire prevention services such as inspections, permits, plan reviews, and related fees. The contractor will handle invoicing, payment processing, account follow-up, customer inquiries, reconciliation, refunds coordination, and recurring financial and performance reporting. The scope also includes integrating with the City's electronic patient care and inspection systems, providing billing software and related technical support, and maintaining customer-facing payment and inquiry services. Proposals should explain the firm's experience, workflows, system integrations, reconciliation and timely-filing controls, customer service, implementation plan, and pricing. The initial contract term is one year, with four optional one-year renewals. The proposal is submitted through the OpenGov vendor questionnaire and includes written responses and specified disclosure and certification forms.
