Description
The City of Gig Harbor is soliciting a contractor to replumb and rewire the Welcome Plaza splash pad under CIP-2506. The work includes demolition and disposal of existing water-feature control equipment, conduit and conductor installation, new terminal boxes, receptacles, chemical controller connections, ventilation-fan power connections, and replacement of the pump-equipment vault lid, frame, and assembly. The project also includes excavation and trenching, protection and reuse of existing infrastructure, concrete and granite-paver removal and restoration, utility locating, erosion and sediment controls, traffic control, permits, and compliance with City public works standards, WSDOT specifications, OSHA/WISHA requirements, prevailing wage requirements, and the contract's insurance provisions.
