Description
The City of Lancaster is soliciting proposals for the furnishing and delivery of approximately 11,800 one-gallon nursery-grown landscape plants across seven specified species and cultivars: Autumn Sage, Mexican Feather Grass, Dwarf Hameln Grass, Purple-Leaf Wintercreeper, Dwarf Rosemary, Elijah Blue Fescue, and Andorra Juniper. Quantities are estimates only, and the City may place multiple orders in varying quantities and combinations throughout the contract period; no minimum purchase is guaranteed. The supplier must provide healthy, vigorous, properly labeled, species-accurate plant material suitable for the North Texas climate, with developed root systems and no significant disease, insect infestation, damage, or excessive root binding. Pricing must be provided per plant and include containers, handling, transportation, and delivery. The supplier must coordinate deliveries, protect the plants during transport, replace rejected material at no additional cost, and maintain reliable access to the specified plants. Responses must include the completed bid form, availability and dedication information, a proposed schedule, references, insurance documentation, bonding capacity, and applicable compliance forms uploaded separately through the City's electronic bid system.
