Description
The New Mexico Department of Public Safety is soliciting proposals from qualified independent public accountants to perform annual audits of the Department's financial statements for four fiscal years ending June 30, 2027, June 30, 2028, June 30, 2029, and June 30, 2030. The scope includes financial statement audits, federal Single Audits, financial statement preparation, other non-audit services, audit communications, draft and final reporting, responses to State Auditor comments, and related training and support. The contractor must comply with applicable governmental auditing standards, GAAP, GASB requirements, federal Uniform Guidance, and New Mexico audit rules. Offerors must be licensed to practice public accounting in New Mexico and listed on the New Mexico Office of the State Auditor's approved audit firm list. The proposal requires a technical submission and a separately uploaded cost proposal, along with specified business, financial stability, licensing, reference, disclosure, and tax forms. Subcontracting is not allowed.
