Description
The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences is seeking a supplier for annual inspection services covering 26 fire extinguishers: 24 portable ABC extinguishers and two portable Halotron extinguishers. The scope includes annual inspections, as-needed six-year testing, as-needed hydrostatic testing, and additional parts and labor, including replacement of extinguishers, at market value. Services must be performed each June during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and scheduled by the supplier in advance. The supplier must maintain and provide a list of non-standard services due for each extinguisher during the following year's inspection. The requested agreement runs from award through September 30, 2031, with annual renewals and no price updates.
