Description
Western School of Science and Technology is seeking proposals for fiber-optic internet access at bandwidths from 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps, with pricing at 1 Gbps increments and 1-, 3-, and 5-year contract options. Three- and five-year options should allow bandwidth upgrades during the contract term. The service must hand off directly to the owner-provided local area network and include outage reporting, basic technical support at no additional charge, and a service-level agreement. Pricing should include applicable construction and installation, such as trenching, boring, conduit, handholes, vaults, poles, fiber cable, splicing, termination, labeling, testing, acceptance, and project management. The request also includes managed internal broadband services for existing equipment, with eligible support and maintenance costs. Bidders must complete the provided E-Rate Service Provider Bid Response Worksheet. Contracts are contingent on E-Rate funding.
