Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is requesting cellular monitoring of an existing fire alarm system 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When an alarm activates, the awarded vendor must contact the facility or designated representative and notify the appropriate fire department or law-enforcement agency. The scope also includes as-needed fire alarm repair or service, priced either hourly or by service call. Services must be invoiced monthly with the dates performed and amounts billed. The solicitation describes a 12-month contract from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with renewal options for up to five years and a total cost not to exceed $25,000.
