Description
The City seeks office chairs through an indefinite-quantity term contract, with estimated annual spending of approximately $43,000 or less. The specifications cover manager’s chairs and active ergonomic chairs, with and without arms. Products must meet stated construction, ergonomic, upholstery, and warranty requirements; equivalent products may be proposed with supporting product descriptions, drawings or photos, technical specifications, and user references. Bidders must be authorized dealers with an accessible showroom or chair demonstration program and have an on-staff service technician for pneumatic replacements. The contract requires delivery and installation, including inside delivery, uncrating, assembly, placement, and debris removal. Bidders must provide pricing, delivery time, a discount off the manufacturer’s price list, and a current catalog and price list. The bid package also requires the completed proposal, the full invitation-to-bid documents, supporting documentation, and a W-9. The City anticipates one award and may extend the contract for up to three additional years.
