The Minnesota Department of Transportation intends to purchase the Alliance Highway Safety Virtual Reality Driving Simulator as a single-source procurement. The system must support driver safety education within the Towards Zero Deaths program and include a customized virtual reality driving simulation platform with integrated software designed for American roadway conditions. The simulator will support workplace driver safety, passenger education concerning distracted driving, and other general driver education needs.
