Washington County's Natural Resources Department is soliciting bids for improvements to lake access and park facilities at Glacier Hills County Park. The work includes demolishing approximately 555 feet of roadway, a parking lot, and a concrete walkway, followed by construction of an asphalt roadway, permeable-paver parking area, ADA-compliant concrete walkway, concrete stairway with railings, dock landing, rain garden bioretention basin, erosion controls, landscaping, bollard lighting, and a pit toilet. The project requires substantial completion by May 28, 2027, and final completion by September 30, 2027. Construction that disrupts cabin rentals and weddings is prohibited during June, July, and August 2027. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for bid eligibility.
