Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting offers for the manufacture and supply of chain hoists meeting the specified design, reference-number, quality-assurance, packaging, preservation, packing, marking, and inspection requirements. The item must be physically identified in accordance with MIL-STD-130, and packaging must comply with the applicable contract schedule and MIL-STD 2073. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered. Non-manufacturers must submit proof of authorization from the original equipment manufacturer on company letterhead, signed by a responsible company official. The offer must include firm unit and total pricing, procurement turnaround time, applicable CAGE information, and supporting traceability or historical-pricing documentation when required. The government may exercise an option for increased quantity within 365 days, and government source inspection is required.
