Description
The U.S. Coast Guard requires a certified hydraulic mobile crane and qualified personnel to support two Government-directed lift evolutions for removal and installation of the USCGC Oliver Henry's NR1 main diesel engine, attached awning, and soft patch. The contractor must provide certified crane operators, qualified riggers and signalpersons, rigging and lifting accessories, outrigger pads or mats, safety equipment, mobilization, setup, repositioning, securing or staging between evolutions if approved, and demobilization. The estimated engine weight is 26,900 pounds, with an estimated required reach of approximately 28 to 30 feet from the pier to the mounting position. The contractor must verify lift radius, crane placement, lift weights, and site conditions; provide ground-bearing-pressure and outrigger-pad calculations; prepare a crane lift plan for Government approval before lifting; and provide applicable equipment certifications, inspection records, personnel qualification records, safety documentation, work logs, and insurance documentation upon request. Work is scheduled from September 28 through October 19, 2026, at USCG Base Guam, and the requirement is a firm-fixed-price, total small-business set-aside purchase order. Quotations must include a detailed cost breakdown, unit and extended prices, total price, payment terms, prompt-payment discount, UEI, CAGE Code, product/service details, product data sheet, and warranty information.
