Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to excavate an approximately 6-by-6-foot area in a parking lot, remove the spoils, repair a gas leak, install a new gas valve, and test the repaired line and valve before backfilling. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, equipment, pipe, fittings, valve, and clean gravel backfill; government-provided line locating is excluded. The contractor must restore the asphalt to match the existing pavement in material and thickness, compact and level the patch, and remove debris and equipment. The quote must include pricing for all four work items, a technical approach and schedule demonstrating completion within 10 business days after award, the project manager or on-site supervisor’s name, evidence of personnel qualifications and any required Alabama licenses, and agreement with the solicitation terms. The technical volume is limited to 30 pages with a minimum 12-point font.
