Description
The county seeks a contractor for a three-year program to design, install, and maintain small and large litter-capture devices in county waterways and rights-of-way. The contractor will conduct waterway assessments and tactical bank cleanups near device locations, complete the EPA Escaped Trash Assessment Protocol on at least 10% of collected litter, recycle recyclable materials, dispose of non-recyclable litter, and provide quarterly progress updates and a final report. The scope also includes staffing and equipping household drop-off events in 2027–2029 to collect, sort, weigh, and transport specified recyclable materials to vetted recyclers. Bids are submitted as unit prices through the electronic bidding system. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds; the solicitation also requires a bid bond or cashier’s check for bids of $25,000 or more.
