Description
The City of Anderson is soliciting a unit-price construction contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for the Branchcliff Lane Streambank Stabilization Project. The scope includes clearing and grading; boulder toe protection and boulder J-hook structures; soil-encapsulated lifts; erosion and sediment control; temporary stream diversion and wastewater bypass pumping; geotextiles and coir fabric; revegetation, live staking, and site restoration; and removal and replacement of approximately 280 linear feet of 10-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer and two sanitary sewer manholes. The project is funded in whole or in part by FEMA and requires compliance with applicable federal requirements. Bids must be submitted on the provided unit-price Bid Form with bid security equal to at least 5 percent of the bid amount. The allowable construction schedule is 180 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day for late completion. The solicitation requires numerous signed certifications and affidavits, including debarment, lobbying, non-collusion, corporate authority, drug-free workplace, personnel attestation, contractor licensing, and E-Verify compliance.
