Description
The City of Wasco is soliciting sealed bids for the Central Avenue Active Transportation Project. The scope includes asphalt paving, asphalt grinding, trucking, striping, concrete work, and other construction required by the plans, standard specifications, and special provisions. Bids must cover the entire described work and be submitted on the City’s provided Bid Proposal form. A bidder’s security equal to 10% of the bid amount is required in the form of cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or bidder’s bond. The awarded contractor must provide a 100% faithful performance bond and a 100% payment bond. Bidders must possess a City business license, a Class A contractor license, and the required public-works registration at the applicable times.
