The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Water Supply anticipates selecting professional-service providers as needs arise during fiscal year 2026–2027. Requested disciplines include accounting, archaeology, architecture, legal services, auditing, potable-water chemistry and microbiology, civil, electrical, environmental, general, mechanical, structural, and safety engineering, community planning, geology, hydrology, industrial hygiene, land surveying, landscape architecture, real-property appraisal, technical writing, education and training, and computer engineering and science. Subdisciplines include construction management and inspection, water-resource and hydraulic engineering, water-loss management, GIS, SCADA, networking, custom software development, cybersecurity, water-quality analysis, grant management, and strategic planning. Respondents must submit a letter of interest identifying the disciplines for which they are applying, together with a resume describing the firm or individual, offices, age and staffing, key personnel qualifications, relevant drinking-water experience, projects awarded within the preceding two years, corrective actions and responses to deficiency notices, up to five client references including at least two from the preceding year, and any desired promotional literature. Responses will be retained and considered as needs arise; submissions are continuously accepted through June 30, 2027.
