Description
Wicomico County is soliciting a complete, turn-key design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of a ballistic-resistant officer desk and integrated raised platform for courthouse security personnel. The installation must include a professional work area with a continuous ballistic-resistant barrier, no glass, cable openings for three monitors, four drawers, a platform approximately 12 inches high with a 6-inch access step, site preparation, fabrication, delivery, installation, finishing, cleanup, and a minimum one-year warranty. Bidders must provide separate lump-sum pricing for UL 752 Level 3 and Level 4 protection. Proposals must describe the proposed materials, construction methods, dimensions, configuration, platform, installation method and duration, warranty, UL 752 certification or testing documentation, comparable projects, and any exceptions or deviations. The contractor must field-verify site conditions and access before fabrication, provide proposed drawings for review, and coordinate the installation schedule with the County.
