Description
The State of Oklahoma, through OMES Capital Assets Management Construction and Properties, is soliciting a single-prime contractor for the New Roof Deck Support Structure project at Oklahoma Human Services Building 55A. The work includes removing the existing roof system and related parapets, soffits, framing, flashing, roof curbs, and lightning protection components; installing new roof and parapet framing; raising or relocating mechanical units, exhaust fans, vents, and gas lines; and coordinating temporary cooling and continued building operations. The base bid includes a modified bitumen roofing system with metal roof decking, two layers of polyisocyanurate insulation, a half-inch cover board, and a multi-ply SBS modified bitumen membrane. Alternate No. 1 provides a TPO roofing system with the same decking, insulation, and cover board configuration and a 115-mil fleece-backed membrane. The project requires a qualified general contractor, a completed CAP Form A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement, a mandatory pre-bid conference, bid security, performance, payment, and defect bonds, specialized roofing qualifications under Oklahoma's Roof Warranty Program, and compliance with specified insurance requirements. The estimated cost is $1.25 million, and substantial completion is required within 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed or Work Order.
