Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting firm-fixed-price offers for nickel-alloy aircraft support seals, part number 4069178, NSN 2840-01-267-1558, used to support and secure the No. 2 bearing in the core bearing housing assembly of an F100-series turbine engine. The requirement is an aviation critical safety item and includes a choice between Bid A, which requires first-article testing, and Bid B, which does not require first-article testing. Offerors must submit only one bid alternative. Bid A includes a first-article test plan, first-article test report, one destructive first-article exhibit, two nondestructive first-article exhibits, and production quantities of 15 to 89 units, with a current required quantity of 58 units. Bid B covers 15 to 89 production units without first-article testing. The required production delivery date is April 26, 2027. First-article testing is waived for Pratt & Whitney prime contractors and may be waived for sources meeting the stated prior-production conditions. Other offerors must be approved sources or satisfy the applicable source-qualification requirements. The solicitation requires compliance with applicable military packaging, inspection, quality, export-control, Buy American, specialty-metals, and item-unique-identification requirements.
