Description
The City seeks a contractor to provide monthly landscaping services at city-owned properties and rights-of-way. Work includes mowing turf; controlling weeds in landscaped beds and along concrete borders; removing leaves and other landscaping debris; pruning vegetation as directed; and fertilizing turf and controlling weeds as needed. The contractor must provide and maintain the necessary equipment and materials, coordinate services with applicable departments, and perform work safely without obstructing traffic. Service frequencies vary by site, generally weekly or every other week, with possible interval extensions during off-peak seasons. Proposals must include an executive summary, company background, at least three similar client references located in Georgia, and a separate all-inclusive price proposal. The package also requires the specified execution, addenda acknowledgment, and Georgia security and immigration compliance forms. A bid bond equal to 5% of the base proposal is required with the proposal; a 100% performance bond is required upon contract award. The initial contract term is one year, with annual review and possible year-to-year renewal.
