Description
The Town seeks a contractor to provide lawn mowing and landscape maintenance at 34 sites, including Town-owned properties and medians along East-West Highway, and maintenance of six rain gardens and two bioretention facilities. The base scope includes mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, seasonal flower planting, mulch replacement, litter and debris removal, and spring and fall cleanup. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, tools, and materials, and submit monthly service reports for stormwater facility maintenance. Bidders must provide separate pricing for the lawn work and additional services. The solicitation also requests separate hourly pricing for on-call snow and ice removal. Bid submissions must include the specified pricing forms, bidder qualifications, three references for similar projects completed within the past five years, and required affidavits. A 10% bid security is required with the bid; the successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond and insurance after award. The initial agreement is three years, with two optional one-year extensions.
