Description
The Town of Ocean Isle Beach is soliciting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and work required to complete the Terminal Apron Rehabilitation project at Odell Williamson Municipal Airport (60J). Work includes erosion control, pavement demolition, earthwork, aggregate base course, bituminous paving, taxiway lighting, and pavement marking. Bidders must be registered as prequalified bidders with the North Carolina Department of Transportation at bid opening, and subcontractors must be registered as prequalified subcontractors at the beginning of the project. The contract includes federal provisions, including Davis-Bacon requirements, civil-rights and nondiscrimination requirements, debarment and suspension, lobbying restrictions, recovered-materials requirements, and other Federal Aviation Administration provisions. The award is contingent on the availability of federal, state, and local funds.
