Description
The U.S. Department of State seeks a qualified contractor to provide highly trained security forces for the Diplomatic Security Uniformed Protective Division supporting domestic facilities and venues nationwide, including Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Services include protection of people and property, control of classified and sensitive information, access control, maintenance of order, criminal deterrence and apprehension, organizational management, and staffing sufficient to support an anticipated complement of at least 1,270 security personnel. The anticipated period of performance is one base year plus four one-year option periods. Recommended experience includes 24/7 armed uniformed protective guard services, armed mobile patrols, explosive detection dog teams, centralized command-center operations, protection of classified information up to Top Secret, large-scale domestic deployments, collective bargaining and contract negotiations, and security support for demonstrations. Contractors must maintain the required collective bargaining agreements, ensure personnel pass contractor and government background investigations, and maintain active SAM.gov registration. Controlled solicitation documents require explicit access through SAM.gov; only two representatives per firm may receive access.
