Description
The Louisiana Department of Education is accepting applications from organizations seeking approval as career coaching providers. Approved providers may subsequently contract directly with Louisiana schools or school districts; this RFA itself does not constitute a direct contract award. Services must support students in grades 6–12 through career interest inventories, career awareness activities, Individual Graduation Plan support, postsecondary planning, parental engagement, workforce and credential pathways, and coordination with school and district stakeholders. Providers must describe their coaching methodology, technology and data-management systems, staffing, coach qualifications, training, monitoring, evaluation, student support for English learners and students with disabilities, and coach-to-student ratios. Virtual providers must provide open access to session links for monitoring and quality assurance. Applications must include organizational information and experience, a detailed scope of services, stakeholder-engagement plans, reference letters, risk clearances, liability insurance, youth safeguards, background checks, student-privacy compliance documentation, instructional materials, grade-level scope and sequence documents, student materials, and a signed certification. Applications are evaluated on a pass/not-pass basis across seven criteria, including alignment with Louisiana education goals, relevant experience, service quality, stakeholder engagement, references, risk clearances, and instructional materials. Submissions must be uploaded in PDF format through the LDOE RFA platform powered by Canopy Education; cover letters, executive summaries, and organizational marketing materials will not be accepted.
