McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., the selected construction manager at risk, is soliciting qualification applications from subcontractors and suppliers for the Clark County Rehabilitation Center project. The scope includes site grading and ground improvements. This is a qualification process, not a request for subcontractor proposals; firms must be qualified by McCarthy before they may submit proposals for future subcontract opportunities. Applicants must use McCarthy’s qualification form and provide the requested information and supporting documentation. Subcontractors with subcontract amounts over $500,000 must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Suppliers with purchase orders greater than $1,000,000 must provide 100% contract-supply bonds. Bonds must be from a surety listed in U.S. Treasury Circular 570 with an A.M. Best rating of A- or better.
