Description
The project includes approximately one mile of improvements along Las Vegas Boulevard from Flamingo Road to Spring Mountain Road, including pavement work, curb and gutter, sidewalks and ramps, medians, bus turnouts, street and landscape lighting, landscaping and irrigation modifications, traffic signal work at six intersections, utility adjustments, storm sewer facilities, pavement markings, signing, and power and communications connections to new Smart poles. It also includes a new waterline along the project length to replace an existing waterline. A second segment covers approximately three-quarters of a mile of Flamingo Road from I-15 to Koval Lane. Work includes curb and gutter, sidewalk repairs to current ADA standards, traffic signal modifications and detector loops, utility adjustments, pavement work, storm drain installation, striping and signing, and LED street-lighting luminaires. The bid package includes plans, a geotechnical report, addenda, and bid attachments. The work includes restrictions and sequencing requirements related to the F1 race and track paving.
