Description
The Regional Municipality of Niagara is soliciting proposals for the operation of Reusable Materials Drop-off Depots located at the Niagara Road 12 Landfill Site in West Lincoln and the Humberstone Landfill Site in Welland. This initiative aims to promote waste diversion by allowing residents and small businesses to donate reusable household goods, thereby reducing landfill disposal. Proposals will only be considered from qualified non-profit organizations that have registered with Bids and Tenders and obtained the Request for Proposal (RFP) directly from Niagara Region's public purchasing portal. The program is designed to facilitate the continued use of donated items and minimize waste sent to Niagara Region's landfill facilities.
