Description
The City of Holland is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of approximately 736,000 tulip bulbs and 900 miscellaneous bulbs. Specific varieties and quantities are detailed in the attached sheets, and no substitutions will be permitted without prior written authorization from the affected department. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form in a sealed envelope marked "FLOWER BULB BID." All bids are to be net, F.O.B. - Parks Department Warehouse, 429 E. 24th Street. Payment terms include 80% within 30 days of delivery and the remaining 20% after successful blooming and approval of varieties. The City of Holland has a local preference policy for Holland-based businesses, which may affect award decisions in cases of tied bids.
