Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks capability statements for future engineering support services for the B-52H Stratofortress beginning January 1, 2029. The requirement covers support for 76 aircraft and includes engineering design, technical and logistics support, maintenance and operational-readiness assistance, program management, configuration and data management, quality assurance, aircraft structural integrity, systems integration, ground and flight test engineering, drawing development, programmed depot maintenance repair development, and field service representative support. Non-recurring engineering support includes performance work statements and statements of work, engineering projects, interim contractor support, over-and-above work, travel, material, data requirements, technical meetings, proprietary-information agreements, quality management, safety, systems engineering, diminishing manufacturing sources, earned value management, and integrated logistics support. Respondents must describe relevant experience, capabilities, teaming or subcontracting arrangements, and the extent of required or available B-52H technical rights from Boeing. The anticipated security requirements may extend to the Secret level and may involve special access information and classified material or hardware. This is market research only, not a request for proposals or quotes.
