Description
The Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth is seeking applications for a new three-year grant program supporting organizations that directly implement one or more evidence-based youth substance use prevention programs from the foundation’s Curriculum Guide. Applicants must serve at least 200 youth per year, with a minimum of 600 youth over the three-year grant period. Programs must involve sustained engagement across multiple sessions; applicants serving middle- or high-school-age youth must include the foundation’s Nicotine Products Prevention Lesson. Individual awards may not exceed $50,000 per year or $150,000 over three years. Eligible applicants include nonprofit, for-profit, governmental, and charitable organizations operating in Virginia. Applications must address organizational background, community need, program design, recruitment, partnerships, staffing, fidelity, workplans, implementation, evaluation, and a three-year budget. Required uploads include the Workplan, Budget Form, and applicable Memorandums of Agreement or school approvals. Applicants must watch the prerecorded pre-application webinar before applying.
