Description
The City of Anderson is soliciting a single-prime contractor for the Fulwer Street Waterline Replacement project. The work includes approximately 1,475 linear feet of six-inch waterline, two fire hydrants, valves, service reconnections, connections to the existing water system, asphalt replacement, and all other necessary appurtenances and work tasks for a complete installation. Bids are submitted on a unit-price basis. Bidders must be on the engineer’s official plan holders list, be legally qualified under South Carolina’s Contractor’s Licensing Law with a Water and Sewer (WL) classification, and provide bid security equal to at least five percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price.
