Description
The City seeks one or more contractors to perform tree trimming, tree removal, stump removal, and priority and emergency tree work on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum quantity. Contractors must provide the labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and supplies; maintain an ISA Certified Arborist to direct crews; and meet specified response times for routine, priority, and emergency work. Work includes debris cleanup, traffic control, stump grinding and disposal, and repair of property damaged during performance. Pricing is requested by unit, with separate mobilization fees and an hourly rate for certain emergency work. Proposals are evaluated on unit pricing, relevant municipal experience, references, equipment and crew capacity, response times, and completeness. The City may award to multiple contractors. Each proposal must include a $10,000 bid security and the completed certification and price proposal attachments. Performance security, insurance, and specified clearances are required from successful bidders before contract execution, not with the proposal.
