Description
The City of Guntersville is seeking ready-mix concrete materials for all city departments during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2027. Required items include ALDOT Class A standard utility mix at 3,000 PSI, 4,000 PSI high-strength commercial mix, 3,000 PSI pumpable/thin-slab mix, and 4,000 PSI high-strength pumpable mix. Bidders must provide pricing per cubic yard, identify the minimum load quantity before any short-load charge applies, and state the applicable short-load charge. Prices must include standard delivery to various job sites within Guntersville's corporate limits. Materials must comply with the stated ALDOT requirements for air entrainment and workable slump. The City may make multiple awards to the two lowest responsive and responsible bidders, with no guaranteed minimum purchase quantity. Bidders must use and return the complete official Invitation for Bids paperwork, bid all items, and sign the required response sections. The contract covers a one-year term, with a possible mutually agreed extension.
