The Amherst County Service Authority (ACSA) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified vendors to supply and implement a complete Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system for approximately 6,600 residential and commercial water services. The system includes water meters, AMI network, meter data management software, installation, training, and ongoing maintenance. Key preferences include static meters with acoustic leak detection capability, hourly reads at 98.5% or better within a 3-day window, a customer web portal, integration with Tyler Software System, and a 20-year warranty on meter accuracy. Vendors must provide a detailed pricing breakdown, propagation study, and project timeline. Proposals are due by September 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT.
