Description
The Town of Ramapo is soliciting bids for maintenance and monitoring of fire and sprinkler systems at the JTS Community Center, Senior Citizens Community Center, and Ramapo Cultural Arts Center. The contractor must furnish all required labor, materials, equipment, inspections, maintenance, monitoring, and related work. Bidders must submit pricing, qualification and experience statements, a recent certified financial statement, and a statement of available plant and equipment. Bid security equal to at least 5% of the grand total is required. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance, payment, and maintenance bonding, insurance naming the Town as an additional insured, and comply with applicable prevailing-wage and other legal requirements. The solicitation states a one-year contract with a possible mutually agreeable one-year extension, although another section contains inconsistent term language.
