Description
The City of Grand Ledge is soliciting proposals for one or two fixed-hourly-rate contracts covering on-call commercial electrical services at city-owned and managed properties, including panel upgrades and repairs, troubleshooting and testing, wiring, electrical installation and repair, downtown street lighting, motor control centers, and variable-frequency-drive installation and programming. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials and support service calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. Streetlight work requires access to a 40-foot lift, and emergency response commitments must be stated in the proposal. An optional addendum covers airport lighting equipment and materials for Abrams Municipal Airport that must comply with current Federal Aviation Administration specifications and the Airport Lighting Equipment Certification Program. Proposers may respond to either or both scopes. The contemplated term is one base year with up to two additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must include company information, project-team details and resumes, evidence of similar experience with three references, and a fee structure with not-to-exceed pricing using the provided proposal forms.
