Description
Round Valley Joint Elementary School District is seeking qualified providers for two high-speed data circuits operating at 10 Gbps or higher, with requested capacity ranging from 10 Gbps to 25 Gbps. The service must connect the district site at 300 North Round Valley Road, Bishop, California, to the Inyo County K12HSN node at 800 West Elm Street, Bishop, California. The proposed fiber infrastructure must be underground, remain within Inyo County, use the shortest feasible path, and terminate at the specified demarcation points with a single-mode fiber handoff. The scope includes recurring data transmission service, all required network equipment, installation and initial configuration, service migration or porting from the existing provider, equipment maintenance, and an industry-standard service-level agreement. Required service objectives include 99.99% network availability and packet delivery, 30 ms one-way latency, four-hour end-to-end mean repair time, continuous circuit monitoring, and no throttling. Respondents must provide itemized eligible and ineligible pricing, growth pricing up to 20 Gbps, a three-year base term with two optional one-year extensions, and the required proposal documents, including an itemized price sheet, signed service agreement, respondent information, acknowledgment form, references, qualifications, and implementation plan when applicable. Special-construction proposals additionally require route and cost documentation.
