Description
Texas A&M University at Galveston seeks one advanced, portable oil analyzer using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy for on-site lubricant and oil condition analysis. The requested instrument is the ERASPEC OIL EO10 or an approved equivalent, suitable for field use and industrial applications. It must support specified ASTM analytical methods and assess lubricant degradation, contamination, and calculated properties such as total acid number, total base number, and viscosity, subject to validated methods and calibration. Bidders must provide product pricing through the electronic response, including shipping and any additional charges, and submit descriptive literature and detailed specifications for the offered product. An alternate product must include its manufacturer and model, technical literature or specification sheet, and applicable diagrams or configuration details. The instrument must be delivered FOB destination to the Galveston campus; delivery lead time and warranty terms are among the evaluation considerations. The solicitation requests export classification, country-of-origin and manufacturing information, and tariff details where applicable.
