Description
The National Institutes of Health is seeking a noncompetitive maintenance agreement for a Leica EM UC7 Ultramicrotome, serial number 597268. The agreement includes one preventive-maintenance inspection per year by a factory-trained field service engineer, inspection and cleaning of functioning parts, lubrication, calibration, repair or replacement of worn parts, testing, and adjustment to the manufacturer's original specifications. The scope also includes unlimited emergency repair service, replacement parts, travel, and labor at no additional cost, excluding consumable parts and imaging laser parts. The planned structure is one base year from October 23, 2026, through October 22, 2027, plus four one-year option periods. The notice is noncompetitive and identifies Leica Microsystems Inc. as the intended awardee; interested parties may submit capability information, a technical proposal, and a cost-price proposal for the agency's consideration.
