Description
The City of Albany is soliciting unit-price bids for pre-rehabilitation cleaning and inspection, followed by rehabilitation of approximately 5,000 linear feet of large-diameter sanitary sewer mains and 15 sanitary manholes. The bid schedule includes internal video inspections, cleaning of 24-inch and 30-inch mains, cured-in-place pipe mainline rehabilitation, lateral reconnections, bypass pumping, point repair, polyurethane manhole lining, mobilization, traffic control, and contract bonding costs. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic control, waste disposal, and related work. The project must be substantially completed within 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A 5% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Required bid materials include the completed bid form and bid tabulation, bid security, project references, licensing or evidence of ability to obtain a license, a qualification statement, DBE participation documentation, and the listed certifications and corporate documents. Insurance coverage, including general liability, property damage, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and employers’ liability, is required.
