Description
The City of Albany is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a comprehensive Stormwater Master Plan. The selected consultant will evaluate storm sewer pipes, canals, ditches, detention facilities, pump stations, outfalls, sinkhole drainage areas, and related infrastructure; identify flooding, sedimentation, conveyance, water-quality, maintenance, and infrastructure deficiencies; establish watershed boundaries; and assess future development and operational needs. The plan is expected to incorporate hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, GIS integration, resiliency planning, asset management, maintenance planning, regulatory-compliance support, flood-mitigation recommendations, capital-improvement prioritization, and long-term implementation and funding strategies. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications and experience, project approach and understanding, and references and portfolio. Respondents must provide at least three references from previous clients within the past seven years and links or attachments for at least three similar projects. The solicitation also requires completed non-collusion, governing-law-and-venue, advertisement, and Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act forms.
