Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking one antimicrobial susceptibility testing instrument for bloodstream infections for the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center laboratory. The instrument must directly sample positive blood culture bottles, provide broad Gram-negative antimicrobial coverage, monitor minimum inhibitory concentration results in real time, produce results within 3 to 8 hours, support multiple simultaneous tests, include a sample-tray sealer, and integrate with MAESTRIA middleware. If a computer is required, it must include Windows 11, vendor software, and network-printer connectivity. The requirement also includes delivery and installation, validation and calibration materials as needed, personnel training with training materials and manuals, user manuals, and annual support maintenance with version updates, upgrades, and 24/7 toll-free remote support. The contract is firm-fixed-price and includes a base year plus four option years; quotations must include technical capability and price volumes and must price the base and all option-year line items.
