Description
The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is soliciting bids to rehabilitate one home in Cherokee County according to the attached work write-up. The scope includes appliances, carpentry, concrete, drywall and finish work, electrical, flooring, HVAC, painting and finish work, plumbing, sheet metal, and gutters. The home has tested positive for ACM, and contractors must follow safe work practices for the areas identified in the ACM report. The work must be completed within 45 working days after issuance of the notice to proceed, with work beginning within two weeks of notification. Bidders must submit the completed Mandatory Bid Response Form and Work Write-Up, including labor, materials, and total pricing. The procurement is subject to Cherokee Nation TERO requirements, Indian preference provisions, applicable Davis-Bacon wage rates, HUD requirements, and Buy American provisions. TERO certification may qualify a bidder for preference, and proof of certification must accompany the bid. The successful bidder must provide required insurance and other post-award documentation, and must warrant labor and workmanship for one year.
