Description
The Grand Traverse Band seeks a contractor to provide housekeeping and janitorial services at the Strongheart Center. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision needed to clean offices, locker rooms, restrooms, and showers, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, deodorizing, and removing trash and recycling. The Band will provide cleaning supplies and paper products. The contractor must keep safety data sheets onsite, secure the facility after hours, and perform the routine schedule outside regular business hours, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. The proposal must describe the contractor’s approach and estimated schedule, and include weekly, monthly, and annual pricing. Optional additional services, including carpet cleaning, VCT floor stripping and waxing, and grout cleaning, must be priced separately. The contract term is 11 months, from November 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The selected contractor must provide proof of insurance; performance and payment bonds are required for projects over $250,000. Tribal member and Native American/Alaska Native preferences apply.
